You should be able to see a "Register Now" link on the top right of tamilmixer.com, click on the link and proceed few steps to get registered.

Click on the "Lost Password?" link on the top right corner of tamilmixer.com front page, and enter your email id which you used on your registration, it will send you an email with few steps, follow the steps to get a new password.

Golden Members Points(GMP), it's used at tamilmixer.com to download mp3 files only.

Click on Push GMP, enter your friend's username correctly, and enter the GMP that you wish to share with your friend, make sure your friend's username is correct before submitting.

Click on GMP Rates to see how mcuh GMP for what file.

Click on Add Ringtone, select the movie and a song name from the list(Movie | Song). Fill the right TEMPO in the tempo field, and write the ringtone code in the textarea, check and submit in the end. Thats it.

Click on Add Lyrics, select the song from the list(Movie | Song), write your lyric in textarea and submit.

MixList is your custom playlist where you can add your favorite songs by simply clicking on following icon  next to the songs. When you get to your MixList section you can play selected songs one by one or play all at once anytime. You must be logged in to add songs to your MixList.

If you have submitted Lyrics/Ringtones and didn't receive GMPs, means your GMPs are on the pending list, you may have noticed on bottom of your login form, it will be checked by moderator/team before the GMPs are on your available list.

GMPID is an unique id which is available for every tamilmixer members to earn GMP easily. By adding tamilmixer.com banners at your/any other websites with your GMPID with link will bring you GMPs automatically.

All stream songs are encoded to 32kbps 22050Hz, which means it's MONO. Very low quality, created to make the stream fast.

All download songs are encoded to 320kbps 44100Hz (Stereo), superb quality, can be played by ANY mp3 players, songs filesize is big because the quality is Big, only at TamilMixer.com ;)

Note: MixPlayer will play all songs one by one from the playlist when "A" and "B" are not selected.
Important: If you can't open MixPlayer, make sure javascript is enabled in your browser, MixPlayer uses Flash player, if you don't have flash player please download the latest version of free flash player from adobe website to use MixPlayer.

TamilMixer stream songs are MONO, CBR (constant bitrate). Low quality, small size, but fast loading, easy caching etc.
TamilMixer Downloadable songs are Stereo, VBR (variable bitrate), all songs are converted to VBR ZERO which means "INSANE" quality, you can clearly notice TMX quality differences with 5.1CH (3D) or better surround sound speakers.

If you use TamilMixer features wrongly which means if you post trash/bad posts you will get warnings.
Warnings:(Max = 3)
1 = Just a warning
2 = Serious warning
3 = AutoBan

RSS is a family of XML file formats for web syndication used by many websites and weblogs. They are used to provide items containing short descriptions of web content together with a link to the full version of the content. This information is delivered as an XML file called RSS feed, webfeed, RSS stream, or RSS channel.

Sections are intergrated with RSS Feed link, however there is a link on the bottom of the page called "RSS Feed", click on that and you will be able to see details infomation.

It displays how many songs are in your MixList and will let you know whether your MixList is full or not. It's an easy way to keep track of your playlist.

Go to your profile -> click on [ Change Avatar ] -> select an avatar for yourself. It's that simple.

Please make sure you click on download link only once and you have none/only one download manager is present before downloading a file. Using multiple Download Managers will drain your GMPs from your account simultaneously.

When you post articles to TamilMixer GMPs will be passed to your account as Pending Points, it means your article is waiting to be accepted by us. Once your articles are accepted, you will be able to see your pending points as Available Golden Members Points.
Members upload hundreds (sometimes even thausands) of articles to TamilMixer,
it takes hours to go through every single articles (jokes, lyrics, ringtones, torrents, voice clips, wallpapers, gallery pictures etc), but usually your articles are get sorted out within 24 hours, sometimes it takes even more time. Good articles goes through and get published online. GMP are passed to your account automatically, but bad/duplication/wrong articles will be deleted by TamilMixer team members.
If you wish to contribute, please make sure your article is good to go online.

Enter a title, description and please make sure your voice clip audio bitrate is at least 120 kbps, 44 kHz (Stereo) to get accepted.
Unclear titles, description, regular songs or bad audio bitrate voice clips will be deleted, and no GMP will be passed to your account.
